Over 1.5 billion people are infected with diseases that are transmitted through contaminated soil (World Health Organization, 2017).
We want to serve and inspire hope in children by providing shoes as the foundation to a spiritual and healthy life resulting in the advancement of education and economic opportunities.
Shoes and socks are reported to be in the “Top 5 Items Needed” by students in school (Champions for Kids, 2015).
"One of my students had been taking his shoes off in class every day because they were too small. Now, because of the kindness of Samaritan's Feet, he's comfortable and able to focus in class."

Let's create a brighter future for those in need.
A new pair of shoes can be life-changing for a child.
In the United States, children with properly-fitting shoes:
- Experience an increase in self-esteem
- Participate in physical activities & sports
- Improve behavior
- Can focus in school
Internationally, children with properly-fitting shoes have:
- Access to education
- A decreased possibility of getting foot-borne diseases
- A safe way to travel in their community
"You can tell the children with foot-borne diseases are in pain—they aren't healthy. But the provision of shoes will do a lot of help. If the day comes when we have a zero demand for shoes, I would be so happy."
